The Sunset Villa

Marlon and the staff were excellent throughout our stay. My partner and I had a great time, loved the private beach, and found the room exactly what we wanted. We’d highly recommend it.

The view from Sunset Villa was a real highlight, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were attentive, professional, and friendly, which made the stay memorable. Everything was spotless when I arrived, and the hotel kept up the cleanliness throughout. They cleaned the room daily and changed the towels often. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The food was excellent, and the staff were thoughtful and so kind, always ready to help. The location was perfect and the service impeccable. There wasn’t much hot water, but on a tiny island in the middle of the ocean, having anything here at all feels like a small miracle. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The beach right in front of the guesthouse is rocky, and nobody really swims there. There’s a sandy beach just a two-minute walk away, though, and shops are close by. I nearly gave four stars, but the manager, or perhaps the owner, was incredibly kind and attentive. She kept in touch and handled everything with care. We were welcomed with juice and taken straight to our room. The new guesthouse was clean, with bright, fairly spacious rooms and a beautiful balcony view. Breakfast was basic. There was no cheese, vegetables, cucumbers, tomatoes, or even watermelon, which surprised me a bit, though I understand that’s common in guesthouses here. I don’t eat sausages or pancakes, so I just had tea, and tuna with bread on one day. That wasn’t available daily. I’d give the staff three stars, honestly. They seemed quite lazy. During our three-day stay, they never restocked the toilet paper, and I felt awkward asking, but had no choice. Nobody cleaned the room or took away empty water bottles, so we did it ourselves. There was no coffee, tea, or sugar in the room either. Towels were taken away and not always replaced, which was frustrating. Each time, I had to message the manager, who sorted things quickly. Still, why should I have to ask someone for basics like toilet paper?
