Meyyafushi Maldives - Premium All Inclusive

The care we got from Levin mattered a lot when our flights were cancelled because of the war in the Middle East. He checked in regularly and reassured us so we could stay stress free. We left feeling that our needs had truly been looked after. We’ve been coming to the Maldives for nine years and have stayed on many islands, but Meyyafushi stood out. Dinners were consistently excellent, and thanks to Chef Sachin and Chef Deepesh for making them memorable and happily handling our requests. Our last evening at The Bubble was phenomenal, we’d absolutely recommend it. Selman and Jahid kept our villa spotless and greeted us kindly, and Aiman at the dive center gave us great experiences and guidance. The kids club was a real standout, and the resort feels like it works for families as well as couples or adults looking to relax. Our baby was treated so warmly by the caring, attentive staff, which made traveling with a little one much easier and helped us feel supported. We stayed during the pre-opening phase and were impressed by how well things were already running. The spaces feel thoughtfully designed and luxurious, from the main pool and spa to the adults only sunset bar. We’re excited to see what comes in 2026. With more speciality dining experiences opening, including the underwater restaurant, we think Meyyafushi could become one of the leading resorts in the Maldives. A truly special stay.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the whole place had a relaxing feel. Service was warm and attentive, while the food and facilities met expectations. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend the resort. I’d like to return.

The reef is the main drawback here. If you want sealife or a drop off around the resort, the choices are limited, though the dive center team were wonderful on the activities we did with them. Our five nights in an Over water villa were memorable. It was spacious for the price, well designed and had great amenities. Having stayed at 20+ resorts in Maldives, we found it among the roomier water villas in this price category. The housekeeping staff kept it in great shape and were always smiling. Meyyafushi is newly opened and Maldivian owned, and the down to earth hospitality from the whole team really showed. Restaurant and bar staff were warm and friendly too. They could be trained better, but showed a lot of potential. Since it was a soft opening, some things weren’t running smoothly and there are areas to improve. Still, it has the bones of a great resort. The staff made all the difference, and management deserves credit for getting the property off to a good start.
