Soneva is still a dream for me. I haven't stayed there yet, but everything I've read and seen makes it seem almost unreal, a place where luxury, nature, and peace come together. The overwater villas, private pools, open-air bathrooms, and personal service all sound incredible. I love the thought behind the “no news, no shoes” idea, and the experience seems to be about more than comfort. Their focus on sustainability also appeals to me, since it sounds like they offer eco-friendly luxury without giving up indulgence. The price is a little painful 😅. A stay at Soneva costs around my entire CTC, so for now it feels aspirational and out of reach. But that's part of why it's a dream worth working toward. One day, I hope I can walk barefoot on the white sand, watch a movie under the stars, and find out what true luxury feels like. Until then, Soneva stays at the top of my bucket list.

The beach had clear blue water and was perfect, while the hotel itself was clean, beautiful, and peaceful. Our modern, comfortable room came with an incredible ocean view. The staff were friendly and ready to help, making us feel welcome from the first day. There were plenty of delicious food choices, and we enjoyed every moment of this relaxing island stay. A wonderful hotel for comfort and good service. Highly recommended! 🌴✨

Soneva Fushi is all about the little moments: the scent of plants along the cycling paths, vivid aquamarine water, wonderful food, attentive service, and how relaxed and cared for you feel. It was a seamless, deeply relaxing stay, and the absolute best. ❤️ A small tip for anyone who likes the gym or training: there are two gyms, one indoors and one outdoors. Both focus a lot on free weights and bars, with only two machines. If you train heavily, especially with a CrossFit style in the Jungle gym, bringing your own gym gloves might help.

The villa was one of our favourites from all our travels: our Robinson Crusoe One Bedroom Villa with Pool had lovely natural light, just the right proportions, and felt incredibly comfortable. We also loved the long walks along the shore, the gym, jungle gym, and Soneva Soul spa. What made the stay especially memorable was how well the team looked after us. Micky, our Barefoot Guardian, was warm and efficient while giving us space. The food was a highlight throughout, from the amazing breakfast to every other outlet. Chef Subah leads the restaurants with real consistency, Rahima at Fresh in the Garden made each visit feel personal, and Nimal seemed to be everywhere, checking that everyone was looked after, especially at breakfast. We'd already stayed at Soneva Kiri the year before, so we came with high expectations, and Soneva Fushi still surpassed them. We felt cared for from arrival to departure and would gladly return. Huge thanks to the whole team for such a special stay. 💛
