The rooms felt cozy and had plenty of space, and the staff were so welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. Bikini Beach is only a short walk away. They keep beach towels available, and there’s a terrace upstairs for drying clothes or relaxing in the evening. You can also sit and chat at the tables by the entrance. Filtered water is there all day, and coffee is available around the clock. I’d happily recommend it.

Ameen and Alu took us out to wonderful dive spots where we saw mantas, turtles, and sharks. They were lovely hosts, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. Breakfast was really, really good, and our room was clean and well equipped. The Wi-Fi in the room could be better, but that was a small issue. I’d definitely come back.

The food was a highlight. Nazmul was thoughtful and kind, and even cooked fresh local grouper caught by Ameen’s father, Mohammed, the island’s most experienced fisherman. It was such a special taste of local life. We were a family of four at Acqua Blu Rasdhoo from 3-7 January 2025. Roohol Ameen, the manager, met us when we arrived on the island with a big smile, and his care stayed with us for the whole visit. We felt more like we were staying in someone’s home than in a guesthouse. If you’re into the sun, sea, and beach, and like making real connections with locals, I’d recommend staying here. We’ll be back.

The snorkeling guide was fantastic. I got to swim with turtles, eagle rays, and loads of fish, thanks to him. Ameen, who manages the place, was especially friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. The hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach. I was very happy with my short stay and would recommend Acqua Blue.

The hotel is close to both beaches, and the staff were super friendly and nice. My room was cleaned every day, and the food was pretty good.
