Madivaru Kro Hotel

We were met on arrival and taken to the ferry when we left, and they handled our speed boat booking and arranged excursions for us. Shohag even took us shark feeding! Naaish and Shohag were very kind and always did their best to make us comfortable. They helped with everything we needed. The room and beds were comfortable and very clean, and we had towels and toiletries. Breakfast was exceptional, with a choice of American or Maldivian. Snorkeling gear was available free of charge. We hope to return to Rasdhoo, and if we do, Madivaru Kro will be our choice without a doubt. Thanks for making our stay perfect!

We turned up without a reservation and were given a large room for three nights. The trip the guesthouse arranged was amazing, and everyone was kind and helped us with whatever we needed. My family and I left very happy and grateful. Thank you.

The sandbank trip we booked was wonderful, and we had fun at the bikini beach too. There's a small reef close by where you can swim easily and spot little sharks. We stayed two nights and found the place comfortable, though the room was basic. We paid for full board, and the owner was kind and ready to help with our requests. The island is simple but nice for a green holiday. The power house was the one disappointment.

Water refills were easy thanks to the dispenser, which also meant less single use plastic. I was glad to find that, along with strong WiFi, a clean comfortable room, a properly hot shower, and a Nespresso machine with capsules for $1. The breakfast buffet had local Mashuni with roshi as well as continental choices such as sausage, boiled eggs, toast, and fruit. I didn't love it, since the Mashuni seemed toned down for visitors who can't eat spicy food. I wanted more chili, but it was fine. Kinan and his family run the guesthouse and The Berry Shop grocery store. They were generous and helpful. I had forgotten my phone plug and cables, and Kinan lent me a huge power bank that lasted the whole weekend. One night, they invited me to a fish grill dinner with other guests. It was lovely, with local dishes and an enormous freshly caught fish. We couldn't finish it, and you could tell it was fresh from the texture and the meat still clinging to the bone after cooking. They also have their own speedboat for excursions, which made things convenient. Plans are made each day based on wind and sea conditions, and they let you know the night before. I had a lovely weekend getaway. After living in The Maldives for two years, I'm glad I finally made it to Rashdhoo. Thanks to Kinan and the team for having me!
