JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort

It was the resort's people who made our stay so memorable. The personalized service felt incredibly warm and genuine, and everyone remembered our names and made us feel like family. A big thank you to Isse, Eka, Kina, Madu, Yosso, Oggy, Fausse, Ashfag, and Srikanth for all the smiles and for making us feel so welcome. My wife and I just finished one of the best stays of our lives at JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll. The resort itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views and world-class villas. If you're considering a trip to the Maldives, we recommend it. We've already started dreaming about a return.

We spent four nights here and only wished we had booked a longer stay. Nour looked after us from arrival through departure and made everything feel even better than we deserved. We started in an overwater villa and were upgraded to a beach villa partway through. Both were great and offered good privacy. The resort has only recently opened, so everything felt new, and the rooms were clean. The beaches were pristine, and we were lucky to have sunny weather. Everyone was professionally trained. At Veyo or Athiri, ask Mario for food recommendations. Fitness trainer Madu helped us get energized without machines and relax with stretching. We tried as many activities as we could and especially recommend snorkeling at the shipwreck and with nurse sharks, the dolphin cruise, and parasailing. Alim made parasailing easy even for beginners.

The kids club was a real highlight for our child. It had activities every hour from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including making pizza with the actual restaurant and bar facilities. Everything seemed carefully planned and professionally run, and children from many countries took part. The food was another treat. Breakfast was buffet-style with sparkling wine available, plus some items to order à la carte. We especially enjoyed the Osaka Scramble, made with Japanese-style dashi and bonito flakes. For dinner, the curry dishes at Riva stood out among the island's many dining options. Our overwater villa was clean, modern, and comfortable, as you'd expect from a resort that opened in 2025. Having a soak in the bathtub while looking out at the ocean was unforgettable. Housekeeping was excellent too, particularly Shifaz, Fayaz, and Imadh. They serviced the villa twice a day with great attention to detail and left small gifts each day that delighted our child. Nour, our butler, checked on us regularly and handled buggy requests, restaurant reservations, and activity bookings smoothly. The welcome and hospitality were exceptional from the airport onward. Staff met us on arrival and guided us to the speedboat jetty, and on departure Aaish escorted us from the boat jetty all the way to the airport check-in counter. He took care of every detail and made leaving completely stress-free. He was kind, attentive, and impressive, and we left with lovely final memories. We stayed at JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort for five nights during the festive season. There was nothing we could fault. The service, facilities, dining, and family-friendly atmosphere were all exceptionally good. Even if you've been to the Maldives before, this resort offers a special and very satisfying stay.

I came back for a second stay, and everything was perfect again, from the warm welcome to the service and attention to detail. I chose to return because, during my first visit, I had a family loss and had to leave on the very day I arrived. The hotel's compassion, understanding, and wholehearted support during that difficult time meant everything to me. That kind of care is rare, and it has earned my loyalty for life.
