Leisure Boutique Hotel

For the money we paid, this hotel was just okay. The room was extremely small, the shower setup was strange, and our view was a construction site. On the plus side, our breakfasts were tasty, with different choices each day. Vishnu stayed in touch, answered our questions, and helped with our suitcases. The staff were friendly overall.

Our stay was 15 feb 2025 - 17 feb 2025(3 nights). I was unsure about booking because of the negative reviews, but Hotel Manager Ms Vino assured me the hotel had been substantially renovated and changed. She was right, and it exceeded my expectations for a budget traveler, especially during peak season when prices were skyrocketing. We had a comfortable three-day stay in a sea-view room with a balcony and coffee table. As a branch of Ocean Vista, the hotel offers affordable excursions, activities, and transfers. Thanks to Ms Vino for making the trip comfortable and memorable. Breakfast was satisfactory, though it could be improved. The food was cold every time, whatever time we came. The in-house restaurant serves Indian cuisine, and the food was good, but the service needs work. I’m pleased with our stay and would recommend it to budget travelers looking for a decent, comfortable option.

The room had a nice sea view, and it seems the owner is planning to redecorate the hotel to make it more fabulous. Staff were friendly and very helpful. They collected our luggage even at night and were there whenever we needed help. The hotel is near the dock, tour agencies, and restaurants. Breakfast was simple, as I think it probably is at every hotel on the island. They made a really tasty tuna mix with onion and coconut.

Leisure boutique suits a solo traveler who doesn’t need a resort’s luxury. The rooms are nice, the bathroom is good and has warm water, and the staff are friendly. They can also arrange plenty of things if you want, such as boat trips to and from Male and a PCR test.
