The staff made the biggest difference. They were kind, attentive, and always ready to help with excursions, local suggestions, or just making sure we were comfortable. The location was handy for the beach, shops, cafés, and excursion points, yet the place itself was peaceful. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, and housekeeping was excellent. After days out exploring the island, it was easy to relax there. We had a wonderful stay at Rehendhi Villa in Maafushi, and felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. It offered great value and heartfelt Maldivian hospitality. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Maafushi. 🌴✨

Mohammad’s honesty and care earned my respect, even though I missed the room I had originally booked. At check-in he told me the hotel was overbooked because of a system issue. I was disappointed after all the research I’d done and booking a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View at Rehendi Villa, Maafushi, but he calmly explained what had happened and arranged a nearby hotel for the first night, then a sea-view room at another hotel for the remaining two. I worried at first that it might be a scam, but his actions quickly put that concern to rest. He offered a complimentary dinner, a free transfer to our next destination, and discounts on excursions and trips. The next day he moved our luggage himself, came along for check-in, and took us to the scuba center to ask for a special discount. He stayed available on WhatsApp and replied quickly with useful information whenever we needed it. Thank you, Mohammad, for turning a difficult situation into a memorable experience. You’re a great manager who clearly cares about guests. The staff were friendly and helpful too, especially the Bangladeshi bhai brothers, who shared useful information and helped us feel comfortable.

At Adaaran Club Rannalhi, all the front staff at the water villa were extremely rude and entitled. We paid 155usd/pax for an all-inclusive water villa visit after being told we could use all the facilities and activities without extra charges, but then had to pay separately for a life jacket. There wasn’t a pool either. You’re paying an exorbitant amount for things you can get for free on Maafushi Island.

We got lots of useful information for my future scuba trip, and the staff were great photographers too. They let us choose where to film with the drone, such as Shark Point / fulidhoo beach or the Sandbank. For snorkeling trips, ask the staff, guests can get a small discount. We stayed 5 days. The room was comfortable, the price was great, and breakfast was good. Sunrise Beach is only a short walk away. The staff were so helpful and attentive: even when our flight was delayed, they waited at the pier to pick us up and take our luggage, and did the same when we checked out. Huge thanks to them!
