The kitchen team took our food intolerances and allergies seriously, trying each day to come up with a suitable dish that still felt interesting. We did have a temporary ant problem, which is normal on an island with rooms among the palms, but the property dealt with it promptly. Otherwise, between the sea, island, and wildlife, it was the Maldives at its best. A fantastic place in a natural paradise, everything felt perfect.

We spent Christmas in the Maldives as a family, on a beautiful island wrapped in coral reefs. We swam with sharks, rays, and a turtle, and even spotted dolphins on an excursion. You can snorkel all around the island. It measures about 400 x 200 meters, has over 1,500 coconut palms, and very few rooms, so there aren’t many guests. That makes it feel even more special. The resort is kept immaculate, and the staff are kinder than we could have expected. Everything was tidy and clean. The Italian and local food was so good I gained 3 kg in a week ;-) The entertainment was fun without being pushy. Veratour staff offered lovely afternoon or evening activities, including beach volleyball and beach tennis. It was a wonderful holiday, and this review is well deserved.

I’m still on the island, and there are fewer than twenty of us, so it feels like we have the place to ourselves. On the beach, it’s almost as if you’re alone. Sumon just brought me a freshly opened coconut, and with the breeze, sun, sand, and clear blue water, what more could you want from a Maldivian island? The island is a natural paradise, with stunning sea colors and two 10,000-square-meter beaches at either end. The sand is like talcum powder. The resort has been renovated in a simple style, with lovely palm wood furniture and a lot of attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful, well furnished, and spotless. Staff are kind, smiling, discreet, and attentive. The food is very good, with Maldivian dishes and desserts each day that aren’t overly spicy. My husband says the legendary tomato pasta is very well made, though I haven’t tried it yet because I keep choosing local dishes. The spa is top notch, with excellent Balinese massages and more. I recommend this place to anyone wanting a real Maldivian island experience. Ivan and Ilaria from Veratour are wonderful, discreet, always available, and ready to help with our needs. Wonderful!

Seven days with our feet in the sand from morning to night was just perfect, though I wish we could have stayed longer. The island is full of greenery, with beautiful sand and sea. Since the reef is close, a boat trip is hardly needed to see sharks, turtles, and rays. Our sea-facing room was very comfortable, and the beach and whole resort were clean. Some construction is underway because of a change of ownership, but it didn’t cause a problem. The Veratour team, Ilaria, Ivan, and Emma, were always up for beach tennis, bocce, and beach volleyball, and were happy to snorkel with guests. Well done! The resort doesn’t have stilts at the moment, which is part of what makes it unique.

We wanted privacy and a proper chance to relax, and our beach villa was wonderful, tucked into greenery with its own beach. The food exceeded our expectations, especially the ethnic cuisine, and table service was a nice touch. The room came with much more than the basics, including several personal care kits, something we haven’t seen even in many 5-star+ hotels. The furnishings are made from eco-friendly coconut wood. Staff cleaned the room 3-4 times a day, always discreetly. There are both private and group excursions. It suits anyone looking for a stay in a wild island setting, close to nature.
