We stayed for a week at the end of April and had a really pleasant time. Jumaan was so welcoming and attentive, and helped us with everything. I was worried before we arrived because communication had been poor and I thought we might have chosen the wrong place, but once we got there, it turned out to be a great choice. They even wished me a happy birthday, which was lovely. Our triple room had plenty of space, with a simple but nice interior. It was cleaned every day and stayed very clean. We didn’t see insects in the room or bathroom, which can happen in Asia. Breakfast was simple, but there was more variety than at other hotels, not just Maldivian tuna crepes. From the second floor we looked out toward flowers and construction. It didn’t bother us, since there’s building work all over the island and it wasn’t noisy. They offer discounts on water sports and free snorkel masks. The one downside was that the room sometimes smelled damp. I’m not sure if that’s common everywhere, though. I’d recommend staying here, it’s worth the money.

The food was much better than what we had at most local restaurants, and the rooms were comfortable, spacious, and immaculate. This was my second stay here, and both visits have been excellent. The staff really go out of their way to make things comfortable. We had a toddler with us this time, and he was kept happily entertained. There’s also a friendly cat called mousey and two macaws. The property is very green, so there are quite a few mosquitoes. Bring repellent spray.

We could borrow bicycles, diving masks, and flippers, and they can arrange a transfer and meet you at the airport. Our room was new and had the essentials, including a big bed and air conditioning. You can choose a Maldivian breakfast instead of a continental one. Great hotel and service, highly recommend.
