Resten Inn Hotel

The owner was great and always said yes to our requests. We spent three nights here and had a good stay. The room was clean and welcoming, and free bikes were a nice option even though the island is easy to walk around. The TV was off during our visit, but it’s a good smart TV. WiFi worked well on the patio and was a little slower in the room. Hot water was reliably hot, and shampoo and shower gel were provided. The place worked around our food preferences and schedule, and we could use the laundry machine for free. Free masks, breathing tubes, and fins were available too. I’d suggest bringing your own full-face mask, since I think it’s best for seeing the turtles at sunset beach. All the beaches are within walking distance. A great place to stay.

The outside bungalow was super clean, comfortable, and great to stay in. The garden was so relaxing, especially hanging out in the hammock. The staff were really nice, and everything went perfectly from check-in to check-out. They kindly helped arrange a private speedboat to Ukulhas. We’d stay here again if we return.

People: 100/10 Beach: 9/10 Clean city: 10/10 Rooms: 5/10 Food, breakfast: 2/10, it wasn’t to our taste Thoddoo is a beautiful island with lovely people. For lunch or dinner, there’s an awesome place nearby called Foodland.

When I arrived, I was told my booking through booking.com had been cancelled. They offered no help or alternatives, so I had to find new accommodation from the airport. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the Maldives.
