We had two good nights on Thoddoo. The rooms were nice and clean, though I did notice a few small insects. They had water, towels, a flat-screen TV, safe, private bathroom and balcony, but the balcony view wasn’t great. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Free bikes are available to ride around town and bring back to the hotel. Some aren’t in the best shape, but you can choose from what’s there. I rode with my wife on a bike with a rear seat, which was fun. They’ll take you and your luggage to and from the airport at no charge, though the speedboat costs $35 each way and they can arrange it for you. Breakfast is free and takeaway is possible if you’re leaving early, since it starts at 9 AM. The hotel isn’t as close to the beach as most island restaurants, but Sunrise Beach is a 10-minute walk and Sunset Beach about 15 minutes, or quicker by bike. For a honeymoon, they can decorate the bed with flowers in a nice style, as shown in the photos.

They have everything you might need, including bikes, fins, and snorkeling masks. The guesthouse is near Sunrise Beach, with great restaurants all around it. It’s also impeccably clean, and the hospitality is exceptional. A top-notch place to stay.

It’s a cozy, simple guesthouse with pleasant, responsive staff. On New Year’s Day they served a festive dinner to all the guests, which was lovely. Our room was clean and smelled fresh, and they cleaned it every day. You could also borrow a bicycle, fins, and a snorkeling mask. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for the warm smiles and such a nice stay ☺️

We stayed for seven nights and found the people there kind and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily, and bicycles and snorkeling gear were free to borrow. They serve local fruit at breakfast and dinner, and you can try local dishes too. One thing to know is that a new building is being constructed near the guest rooms. I’d recommend staying here in Thoddoo.

The owner and Hussain made sure we had a wonderful stay, with friendly, helpful service that went above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious and different each day, with choices for everyone. Our clean room had all the amenities we needed. On our last day they made us a special dinner, and it was mouth-watering. We also made use of the free bikes and snorkeling kits. The hotel is in a great spot, and I’d happily recommend it. We’ll definitely return.
