Summer inn Thoddoo

The island is beautiful, with lovely bikini beaches and reefs, though sadly you can see litter around. The guest house felt like home, and the staff did all they could to make our stay relaxing. Food was freshly made and very tasty. You can borrow masks and flippers for free, though foot size might make bringing your own a better choice. Our room was small but neat, with a comfortable bed and two kinds of pillows, one soft and one firm. Towels were changed daily, including beach towels after we used them. The bathroom was spacious and had what we needed except a hair dryer. There was air conditioning and a place to dry clothes. Even SPF 50 cream struggles in that sun, so for the first few days, snorkeling in a shirt or tunic is a good idea. We'd definitely recommend this cosy guest house.

We stayed nearly two weeks and felt as though we were visiting old friends. The owners were thoughtful and caring, and helped us sort out anything that came up. My children already miss their Maldivian friends and send their regards. Day to day, everything was comfortable: fresh food prepared there for breakfast and dinner, daily changes of beach towels, a spacious bathroom, and excellent bed linen.

Mr Muaz was professional and helpful every time we needed him. Our brand-new apartment was fresh and clean, with very kind staff and a good lobby. It's close to the best bikini beach. A buggy was waiting to take us to the speedboat, which made everything feel perfectly arranged.

I've stayed at this guesthouse twice. Breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruit, and they still provide it during Ramadan. The room is very spacious, with a huge bed and a balcony looking out over the stadium and jungle.
