Batuta Maldives Surf View

We went night fishing, and the hotel cooked the fish we caught for dinner, which was lovely. The owner is a very nice, helpful person and arranged our excursions at reasonable prices. Breakfast tasted good, though there wasn't a huge variety. A really nice place, and I definitely recommend it.

The house is right on the beach, and the view is great. The rooms are big and perfectly fine for what you pay. If you want more, you’ll need to pay more. Service was very friendly too. One thing to know: the building isn’t well insulated, so during really rainy or stormy weather you may need earplugs. That’s obviously the worst case. I’d absolutely recommend it to friends.

The staff were a pleasure to see each day, always friendly and ready to chat. They helped arrange ferries and offered advice about the island. Breakfast was another highlight: the cook prepared each meal with care and gave lovely service. My partner asked for a local tuna breakfast, and he went out of his way to make it, which we really appreciated. We were there as a couple for 6 nights in September 2025, in a sea view room with a wonderful view of the beach. The room was comfortable, clean and consistently well maintained by room service. I’d recommend Batuta Sea View to anyone visiting Thulusdoo who wants a beachfront stay with comfortable service at an affordable price.

Bikini Beach is right outside, with plenty of cafés and restaurants along the shore. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the gorgeous beach view and the area's laid-back feel. It was an awesome spot, and we really hope we can come back. Highly recommend!
