There’s some potential here, but the upkeep, pricing, and marketing need work. The room we booked, advertised as the property’s “best room,” didn’t match the photos and videos online. After we arrived, we noticed several recent reviews described the same issue, which we hadn’t seen before booking. It wasn’t properly cleaned when we got there, and we have photos. The toilet was broken, the mattress was poor and didn’t fit the bed frame, and the third “bed” was very uncomfortable. Although the room was sold and priced for three adults, it felt cramped and really seemed suitable for two adults at most, or maybe a couple with a child. Breakfast was unpleasant too, with flies repeatedly landing on us and the food. The owner told us this room goes for nearly twice as much in high season. We’ve traveled often, including to several other Maldivian islands, and don’t feel the quality justifies that price. In its current state, we think around €120-130 a night would be reasonable. The beach directly in front of the hotel was also not especially attractive or like the image many people have of the Maldives. The beaches on the other side of the island, especially near Dream Beach, are much more beautiful. We wanted to leave straight away and asked for a refund. We spent almost half a day discussing it with management. After several hours, they offered us two rooms for the first night and suggested we rest and talk again the next day. That gives an idea of how serious our concerns were. The main disappointment was feeling misled by what had been left out. With better maintenance, more realistic photos, and a price that reflects the standard, this place could be charming. As it is, the quality didn’t match what we paid.

The room was lovely, and the guys looked after us so well. The place is right on the beach, so you can open the door and step straight onto it, and breakfast is served by the water. Every day at 16:30 they brought homemade Focaccia to us on our sunbeds. We even had a cat and kitten living outside our room 😂🥳 There’s no TV, though you don’t come here to watch one, lol. At low tide the beach is a little stony, but the snorkelling is great. I saw a shark, a turtle, and sting rays! Highly recommend this place 😊

Worst experience ever! The manager was very rude when we arrived. We told him we were guests, but he insisted it was his island, not ours. He also said that if we didn’t pay, he didn’t care because they would charge the card either way. Payment was due after arrival. The room looked nothing like the photos. It was tiny, the water was salty, and the bed was awful. We paid 300 usd dollars for two nights. We told them we’d leave the next day, and he said okay. We left the island yesterday after less than 18 hours, even though we’d paid for one more night. Imagine.
