Island Host

We spent so much of our time out and about that the holiday flew by. We biked around the island, snorkeled at Raafushi's Island Reef, had a fish BBQ picnic on Thanburudhoo, went sunset fishing and watched dolphins, and visited Adam's house to see how some Maldivian food products are made. We also saw local crafts made from wood and palm leaves. The restaurant next door has the best food on the island, with plenty of local and international choices. I loved sitting outside with a juice or smoothie, looking over the bright blue ocean in the breeze. Back at the guesthouse, our room was spotless, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The outdoor beach lounge, among palm trees and shells, was my favorite spot for sunbathing and relaxing. Adam and his brother Ahmed were attentive and warm throughout. You can tell they care about their work and the island. We were grateful for a wonderful holiday here. If you want to unwind, get a feel for Maldivian culture, and stay somewhere cozy, this is a lovely choice.

Adam, thank you from Moscow! The guesthouse is small, with just a few rooms, but it's cozy and tidy. Adam is a great person who can show you around the island and arrange activities you might enjoy. The restaurant nearby is also his, and he makes sure you get to try Maldivian and Indian food. For us, it was a memorable stay and a chance to discover the Maldives away from expensive resorts. If you can book a room here, I'd call yourself lucky.

Snorkeling around the island was incredible, with so many different fish to see. The stingray was my favorite. We also ate really well, and the guesthouse was comfortable with the amenities we needed. Amed works hard to keep it clean and make guests feel at home, and Adam looked after us the whole time. This was a relaxing holiday, and a good way to enjoy the Maldives and experience local life without staying at a five-star resort. A special thanks to Adam.

The food was great, and the day trips were even better. Adam and his brothers put a huge amount of effort into giving my friends and me the best service they could.
