The rooms at Burley House Guest House were tidy and clean, and the staff were quick to respond and help. It has a comfortable, secure feel in a pleasant, safe neighbourhood, with a cosy home-style atmosphere. A few practical things could be better: the shower pressure, occasional power cuts, and an air conditioner that takes a while to cool the room. Still a welcoming choice for a relaxed stay.

The staff at Burley House really went out of their way to make things work for me. I’ve just wrapped up three days here, and it’s been one of the best places I’ve stayed in Malawi. I’m impressed, and I’ll be back. I’d definitely recommend checking it out.

I loved staying here. It’s quiet and low-key, with clean, decent, pleasant rooms and staff who genuinely look after you. There’s no fancy luxury, but you get more quality for a much lower price than at the big places nearby.

The food was delicious, and our rooms were clean, with updated, clean bathrooms. The rooms were very nice too. Staff were friendly and made a real effort to meet our needs. We had a very pleasant stay.

Memory, Isaac and the chef, whose name I’m sorry I don’t know, are wonderful hosts. We always come back to our go-to hotel in Lilongwe, and it’s such a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend it.
