The setting by the lake is beautiful, and the sunrises were lovely. Weekends were noisy, with music playing. When we came back during the week, it was peaceful and we enjoyed the surroundings.

We drove over for lunch and enjoyed the lovely views right beside the water. The service was just okay, and the food was underwhelming.

The family rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was spot on for everyone staying in the room.

It’s a gem of a place, a 10 out of 10 for me, even though staff management could be better. I had to wait a full hour for my food.

We came the first time when we were the only ones at the whole lodge, and it was good. Our visit in October 2025 was a different story. There was no hot water in the shower, just one towel per room, power problems, and slow service in every aspect. Not happy.
