Blue Waters by Serendib

We paid a lot for a really poor stay. The rooms were stuffy, the TVs didn’t work, and the place looked nothing like the photos. The food was tasteless, and they were missing many of the items listed on the menu. Never again.

The WiFi was the main letdown: the login system feels outdated, the signal in the rooms is weak, and it kept cutting out. It was fine for social media, but not for work. A proper upgrade would make a big difference. I’d suggest picking a second-floor room, since footsteps above can be noisy. Despite going in a little worried from the reviews, I had a very good stay. My room was spacious, clean, and well arranged, with a huge bathroom and fresh towels each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you’re vegetarian, try the Indian à la carte dishes.

There was no security to speak of. Someone who seemed to be a staff member nearly broke into my mother’s room. It looked as though they knew most guests had checked out and tried to take advantage of us being the only clients left. Extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable.

I’d recommend booking a room in the Grand wing. The lake view was great, and the rooms were good, with AC, refrigerators, and supplies ready for making tea. The service was good as well.
