Wheelhouse Marina

The beach is beautiful, with soft sand and calming waves, and the trees are lovely to relax under. There’s also a pool table for a friendly game. It’s a peaceful spot for unwinding or spending time with loved ones, and you can picnic there for a fee. I think it’s worth paying. The first welcome could be warmer. Since the gateman is the first person visitors meet, a friendlier greeting would make a real difference. Even so, the calm atmosphere and natural beauty more than made up for it. I recommend a visit, it’s a place to make memories and let stress go.

We had a wonderful couple of days here. The room was comfortable, the food was good, and the owner made us feel welcome. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient, which made our stay feel perfect. The surroundings are scenic and so relaxing. We listened to the lake lapping at the shore, heard fish eagles calling, and watched monkeys playing. My only complaint is that leaving this gorgeous spot on Lake Malawi was so hard. Thanks to everyone for such a brilliant stay. If you visit Lake Malawi, you simply must not miss this place.

I went with the Africa Rally and had a great time. The bar area is awesome, the staff are great, and the location is sure to bring me back.

Wheelhouse Marina was the best part of our African road trip. Jenna and Clint were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and pretty much saved our holiday. The food was fantastic and very well priced for the country, with Mike serving it all with a warm smile. We’ll always treasure kayaking on Senga Bay, which Wheelhouse arranged, and the beaches were so peaceful and quiet. We’re already looking forward to coming back to THE BEST LODGE on the Lake. We’re not done hearing Clint’s croc stories and adventures yet. All the best, see you again!
