The design details really stood out during my three-day stay. The recycled pieces, textures, and artwork felt creative and carefully chosen, and the atmosphere throughout the property was beautiful. The gym was a nice surprise too, bright, clean, and well equipped. Conference facilities were excellent for corporate gatherings, and breakfast and the dining atmosphere were both great. A few details fell short. The buffet wasn't as good as breakfast, some snack wings still had feathers on them, and my room had no kettle. There were visible water lines in the toilet, and the shower drained poorly, leaving water pooled. I didn't use the spa, but it looked beautiful. It was still a lovely stay, and the look of the place, service, and overall experience carry it strongly.

The pool was one of the cleanest I've seen in Malawi, please keep it that way. The gym was good too, and we even had a massage inside the hotel, which was very convenient. I stayed for two nights with a friend and we had a great time. We ate there a couple of times, and the food was really good, especially breakfast, coffee, and curries. The staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back soon!

After my stay from 20-22 January. 2026, my card was charged MWK 350,200, more than it should have been. I've contacted Ms. Mphatso, who assured me I'd get a refund, but nothing has happened so far. I also tried to speak with the manager on duty and am still waiting for a reply. This has not been a good experience.

What I loved most was how quiet the place is. The aesthetics were breathtaking too, and they really embraced Malawian culture.

The restaurant food and service were great, 9/10. Reception was another story: staff were unfriendly and unresponsive at both check-in and check-out. Did nobody tell them they were meant to serve customers? Everything seemed like too much trouble, even getting the bill. In the room, two guests were expected to share one towel, and we waited an hour for extra towels to arrive.
