My coworker and I stayed for a week, and it was great all around. Having meals available here made things even easier than finding food elsewhere, and the food was great. Mel and Tom were wonderful hosts. My room had recently been updated and had a very comfortable bed. There’s AC and internet on the property.

I had a lovely few days with Mel and her team. It was handy being able to arrange a taxi through them and stay in for dinner. The room was really comfortable, with plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, and water. For lunch, Saffron is an easy 10-minute walk around the corner and serves a great Indian meal. I also spotted a small supermarket called Panda convenience store at the Total Energies petrol station nearby. The location is excellent for getting to the Bibgu inference center and downtown.

The lodge is beautiful and clean, and the rooms were perfect. Tom was a great host, very flexible and helpful in getting us what we needed. The food and service were both amazing, and the chefs made our favorite meal of the trip. There are a few restaurants and cafes within walking distance too. I wish I could give Wendels more stars. Definitely staying again.

The owners made Wendel’s Guest House feel like a home away from home. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care, and it was a lovely place to relax and feel comfortable. Highly recommend.

The gardens are beautiful, the food is excellent, and the staff are fantastic. Everyone was kind, polite, and ready to help however they could. A wonderful place to stay in Malawi.
