The view is a real treat, but the place needs better upkeep. Our room had a clogged sink, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, to put it mildly. Those details hurt the image and keep this good place from earning a higher rating. Getting there is a bit difficult, though still manageable.

From our private terrace on the top floor, we had a superb view of the sea and sunsets, and felt comfortable there. Both pools were clean and well cared for, with staff coming by regularly. There’s a secure garage for the car, and breakfast was simple but fine. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi to reach the center of Acapulco, for 200 MXN. If you’re coming back late, make sure the taxi has the property geolocated. Someone is always waiting at the residence entrance. The place is beautiful but badly run-down, with everything showing its age and no maintenance. It’s sad, since it must have been exceptional once. Even though we had reservations at first, we were glad we stayed for the weekend.

The staff are friendly and do what they can to make your stay a good one. The place is nice and has an ocean view, though you can’t see the beach from there. It does need maintenance.

The beach is great, near Pie de la Cuesta and close to downtown Acapulco, which makes it all the more disappointing that they don’t honor reservations. The place is nice, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It feels like a rip-off and a waste of time. Be careful, don’t book, it’s a scam. It’s a shame that tourism is what they profit from.
