Hotel Delfines Acapulco by NG Hoteles

The air conditioner wouldn’t cool the room, and I hit my forehead on that ugly TV.

The buffet was the first thing that disappointed us. We always book all-inclusive, but this time there was hardly any variety. The hotel is so neglected that things seem broken or out of order everywhere. Mr. Bernardo A. needs to take charge. This is nothing like the hotel was years ago, when they even had poolside exercise and snacks. Now there’s nothing. I’ve stayed here for ten years, but this was my last visit. My husband and I have around 50 bedbug bites. On the day of the show, we asked to switch rooms. The first one they showed us had no working air conditioning, so we declined it and were moved to another that looked presentable. By night, though, the blankets and pillows smelled horrible. I was shocked at how filthy everything was and poured rubbing alcohol on the blankets, pillows, and floor. There aren’t enough staff to serve everyone. The same waiter has to go between the bar and guests waiting for service. That’s not the waiter’s fault, they do what they can, but the hotel needs more people. The luggage attendant gives the worst service imaginable. He’s angry and grumpy. I’ve seen him in that area every time I’ve visited over the years. Maybe he’s fed up, but that isn’t our fault.

The pools are great, 10/10, and I’d come back. The hotel is a bit worn on the outside and in the rooms, but it still works.
