The hospitality and service really stood out. We had such a great experience that we’d like to stay at the 1hotel in every city we visit.

We stayed with family over the 2024-25 New Year holiday week. It’s an easy walk to restaurants and shops around the marina, and there were lots of good options. We felt completely safe. The area is noisy, and construction is planned on the large lot next door for a 1Hotel property, but with the sliding doors shut the rooms were surprisingly quiet. The soundproofing is excellent. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and everything was clean. Service was top-notch, with everyone ready to help. Getting a chaise by the beachside pool was a little tough on the busiest days, though the other pool still had plenty of chairs. It’s a wonderful place for an apartment-style stay with outstanding service.

We had a lovely stay at the 1 Homes Cabo. The rooms were beautiful, and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Halfway through our anniversary stay, I saw an employee looking into our suite from the room next door. I first thought I might be imagining it, but I saw the same man three times. The third time, we made eye contact. It was chilling, and I was furious and deeply uncomfortable. I called the front desk right away, and security came to our room. They checked the key card records and security footage and confirmed that an employee had entered the adjacent room on the dates and at the times I reported. We were told it was an owner's suite and was vacant. The staff apologized and took it seriously, but that didn’t undo what had happened. The last two nights were uneasy and uncomfortable, and the invasion of privacy derailed our anniversary trip. Even the good memories, like playing volleyball with Kygo during his Palm Tree Music Festival at the resort, were overshadowed. The first few days had felt magical, with wonderful moments and impeccable service. The hotel is breathtaking, immaculately clean, chic, and luxurious. We paid over $8,000 for five nights and six days in a beautiful suite with a private balcony Jacuzzi. We thought we’d found paradise, but the experience left us with mixed emotions and tainted what should have been one of the happiest trips of our lives. I want to give the hotel five stars for its beauty and staff, but I can’t ignore this breach of trust and safety. Spending thousands for what we believed would be a safe, private stay, only to have it ruined this way, was beyond disappointing. This was unacceptable, and I can’t recommend 1 Homes Cabo until guest privacy and security are truly prioritized through significant measures.
