Park Royal Beach Acapulco - All Inclusive

The rooms are actually nice, and the coast view is great, but constant renovation noise made it hard to rest. The ocean water was dirty, and the stretch of beach was tiny and crowded. Drinks were okayish. The food was horrible, and I really mean horrible. I don’t expect much on an all-inclusive vacation, but this hotel still managed to disappoint. To me, it’s maybe a two-star hotel, not four. The price is what brings my rating down to one star. There are plenty of better options in Acapulco. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, won’t come back, and regret booking it.

Set inside a gated community with security on duty around the clock, this is a very secure resort right on the beach and great for families. The staff went to great lengths to handle every request. There are lots of fun activities, and the activity team gets people involved.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, though nothing luxurious, and the location is excellent and quiet. The service was excellent too. Sales reps can be pushy and keep you for hours trying to make a sale. It happened just once during my stay, but if you’re not in the royal holiday vacation club, expect an insistent rep to approach you for a while. Otherwise, it’s a perfect non-luxury all-inclusive resort.

It’s a lovely, peaceful area with two nice pools and a private beach, and a great setup for families with children. The food was very good at all the restaurants, although the dishes at Bahia restaurant were never hot enough. Nearly all the staff speak only Spanish, so we had trouble communicating since we only speak English.
