The hotel is in central Actopan, Hidalgo, Mexico, and has a lovely, quiet, family feel. It’s clean, the staff are professional, and there’s good private parking.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location is good, but the facilities made for a miserable stay. We stopped here to rest for a night after a long trip, and that was a big mistake. The bed was rock hard, the sheets felt scratchy, and the see-through curtains let in too much light from dawn. There was also a lot of noise, and we could hear everything, so resting was impossible. We left feeling more tired than when we arrived. We went on a Wednesday, when the street market meant cars couldn’t get through until after 11 pm. I’m grateful to the staff for their kindness, but the condition of the rooms was really bad, and we had a terrible time.
