Fiesta Inn Express Aguascalientes

What a surprise. I’ve traveled around the globe, and I’ve never had a bed and pillow this comfortable. The room and hotel were clean and modern, and the bathroom was nice, with a bathtub!!!! I left our 3 giant dogs in the rv, but noticed signs saying dogs are allowed, which I love. There’s a big parking lot too.

The food wasn’t anything like the fresh, delicious meals and cheap prices I usually find in Mexico. The restaurant was not typical inexpensive Mexico prices, either. I ordered tacos and beans, and the beans were cold. I also got cake to take back to my room, but it tasted terrible. I took the uneaten portion back to the restaurant and asked to exchange it for another flavor after explaining how bad it was. The man went to the kitchen, then came back and said I’d have to pay for another slice. I agreed to keep the peace and try a different flavor. The carrot cake was terrible too, mushy in texture and bland. I paid about $8 American dollars for two pieces of cake I couldn’t eat.

The staff are great, and the hotel is quiet, safe, and family friendly. It’s recently renovated, and there’s a mall across the street with lots of shops and restaurants. At the mall, there’s a multiservice store where customers can pay bills and handle bank transactions. You can show your passport there and change currency.

The rooms were clean and the location was good, but I won’t return. I stayed 30 days for business and they told me to pay weekly. The front desk was rude and unprofessional, and even though they had my credit card information, I was told to pay or get out. The restaurant was TOO expensive. There are better deals in Aguacalientes Mexico.
