The location is good and it felt safe. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean, and the staff were nice and professional. The downside was that the room was very small and there weren't enough outlets.

The AC blows cold, and the bed sheets were clean, which was good. But the room looked bigger online than it is. There was hair and dirt on the bathroom floor and towels, and the TV in the new room didn’t work. Tcondition to

The main issue for us was the heat: the room temperature was locked, so I was hot all night. The shower also leaked despite the door being shut. There was no handle or seal, and changing the showerhead direction didn’t help, so we used two towels to keep water from reaching the hallway. We were a group of three, but the rooms felt small. The beds were arranged in a T shape, and the bathroom door couldn’t be accessed if the hall door was open or someone was in the room’s hallway. The hotel has two seven-story buildings, but one is for couples and solo travelers, while the other serves groups needing larger beds. It covers the basics: bed, shower, toilet, and pets are allowed for a fee, which was one reason we picked it. There’s no luxury or much space, and not even shampoo or conditioner. If you’re looking for more than the essentials, this probably isn’t the place.

That smoke detector in our room flashed all night like a camera. The air conditioner also said its filters needed changing, and the room felt stuffy overnight. Otherwise, it was clean and about what you’d expect from an Ibis budget hotel, with plenty of hot water, nice bedding, small rooms, firm beds, and coffee for a fee. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, since they don’t provide them. AGUASCALIENTE is a big city with lots of amenities.
