Casa del Sol Inn

We were there for over a week and never had the same breakfast twice. You choose your meal and a time between 8-10am the night before. The rooms were looked after daily, with fresh drinking water, and Elizabeth greeted us each morning. She remembered our story and made us feel very welcome. Service at Casa Del Sol was second to none. Don’t miss the happy hour margaritas, they were the best we had on this visit. When we realized on checkout day that our supposed driver wasn’t coming, Marianne had another one with us within 30 minutes. We own a home nearby now, but would still happily recommend the place.

Even before breakfast, there’s coffee and muffins in the morning, and juice and cookies later in the afternoon. Breakfast itself is filling and wonderful. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully equipped, and the whole property feels warm and beautifully arranged. It’s close to the lake and an easy walk around town. We especially liked chatting with Efram, the bartender, who was so kind and helpful. The staff are friendly, and there are movie and game nights along with plenty of other activities. We’ll be back for Sunday brunch and happy hour. One of my favorite hotels ever.

The pool area was lovely and everything was very clean. Elizabeth has done an amazing job with the whole hotel. The staff were courteous, professional, and friendly, and made us feel especially welcome. It’s a beautiful place for either a short stay or a longer visit. Getting into the town square was easy, about 5-10 minutes to most restaurants and bars. The service was friendly and simple, with no fuss. The room was good, though my husband found the bed a little too soft. Enjoy!
