Hotel La Avenida

We paid for the basics, but they weren't provided, and the manager's attitude was awful. When the hotel pump failed, we had no water for an entire morning. The manager wasn't there to explain what happened, and the person left in charge never offered a solution. There was no hot water in our room either. We had to track down the manager to tell her, even though hot water is a basic hotel amenity. The room outlets were mostly useless, only one out of three or four worked. The rooms also smelled of sewage and mustiness. Her rules were unreasonable too. After going to the beach, she wouldn't let us shower in our room. We had to use a bathroom downstairs because she supposedly didn't want sand getting into the shower. Terrible service. NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL.

I was there for one night, and the hotel was poorly maintained. The room had exposed electrical outlets, a musty smell, and barely noticeable air conditioning. It was also hard to find the manager. Frankly, the service was terrible.

Mold on the room walls and dirty pool water. The place was poorly cleaned, and the service was terrible. Zero stars.

The pool is especially lovely, and the hotel itself is nice and beautiful. Service was excellent, and the price is affordable.
