Hotel Centinela Grand

The service was top notch, breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel was very clean. We could walk everywhere, and the tequila was delicious, especially their crystalino. I’d stay again, but would ask for another room. We booked two rooms for the same price. Our friends’ room, 5, had a view, cold AC, and a proper queen bed. Our room, 6, had no view, barely working AC, and a remote that was hard to read. The bed was two twins pushed together, and I could feel every spring. The shower had the best pressure and hottest water of our whole Mexico trip, but it leaked a huge amount of water onto the tile. I slipped once, luckily without getting hurt. There were no handrails getting out, so be careful, grandma. The hair dryer started filling the room with smoke after about 30 seconds, and I had to wash my hair again. Four of the six bedroom bulbs didn’t work. We made do after enough tequila.

I stayed here about a year ago and it was great: secure, comfortable, and clean, right in the center with everything within walking distance. I’m heading back in November and hope the service is still the same or even better.

Honestly, I think this is the best hotel in Arandas. The service is great, the bedrooms are spacious, and the internet is very fast. Great, great, great.

The rooms are a good price. I’m coming back!
