The alpine cabin idea is nice, but the space doesn’t work very well. It’s extremely cramped, with a small sleeping area and a hard bed.

One of my worst stays. The rooms were filthy, and rotten food in the refrigerator made the whole cabin stink. The blankets and bathroom were dirty too. Don’t waste your money.

The cabin itself was nice, but a cockroach infestation ruined the stay. My partner and I went about a year ago. In the afternoon, we spotted one cockroach floating in the pool, another dead on the floor outside the room, and a third dead in the bathroom, probably there before we arrived. That night, about five more came up through the shower drain. I had to kill them myself because the hotel staff never responded. They crawled onto the sink and over our things, including soap, toothbrushes, and toiletries. I contacted the hotel the next day to complain and got only a half-hearted apology by message. The staff were indifferent and treated us like they were doing us a favor by letting us in. It was the worst night ever.

I booked a three-person cabin on their website a month ahead, but when we arrived, that cabin didn’t exist. The listing used pictures of a four-person cabin, and I had a confirmation email for a four-person villa with a bathtub. They’d remodeled months earlier and only had cabins for two people. When I raised it with customer service, the woman who helped me was unfriendly and apologized, saying their system showed a two-person cabin. I told her about the confirmation email, then had to send her an image of it after several minutes, but she kept saying the system only showed two people. In the end, they offered us a room at a hotel farther away, so my friends and I had to split up. It wasn’t what I’d hoped for, but we had no other choice. I heard nothing else from them after that. They just washed their hands of the situation.
