The room was clean and the WiFi worked well, but it was very noisy. Stray dogs and neighbors’ dogs barked all night, and the road runs out from the center, so cars kept passing through the night. The bathroom was tiny, with almost no water pressure, and there was no hot water after sundown. Kitchen supplies were very basic.
The owner was incredibly kind and quick to respond. The place was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, and they changed the linens and cleaned when requested. There’s a small fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and dishes, but no microwave or stovetop. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Mexico. A perfect stay, really.
It’s very quiet at night, despite being close to the city center. The apartment is functional and clean, and the bed is really comfortable. I appreciated having a beach towel as well as a bath towel. The internet is good, and while the kitchen could use a few more utensils, it’s manageable. The dining table and hammock make the rental more comfortable too.
The host was friendly and always available, and check-in was simple and straightforward. There’s a refrigerator in the property, and the center is quite close, about a 10-minute walk.
Fantastic apartment. I’m almost three weeks into my trip, and this is the cleanest place I’ve stayed, even compared with the hotels.
