The staff were kind, the location is amazing, and the room was dark enough for a good sleep. It was equipped with air conditioning and offered good value for money. The shared bathroom was very clean, though the men's shower wasn't great, even if it did the job. It's a budget hostel right in the heart of Bacalar. Nearby nightclubs and loud music from the restaurant next door during the day made it a bit noisy.

My dog and I had a lovely, relaxing stay, and the hotel was a great pet-friendly option for the two of us. The main square is right in front, which was convenient for my dog, and we ate at the attached restaurant during our few days there. Staff were nice, and we'd definitely come back. The room could use a few upgrades. On weekends especially, music carries into the early morning, though thankfully the air conditioner drowned most of it out.

The staff were incredibly kind and did their best to help with everything, even booking a domestic flight for me, despite not knowing much English. I'd recommend it to solo travelers who want a private room at a fair price instead of a hostel. The central location is great, two minutes from the lagoon and near restaurants and a few bars. My room was very nice and clean. I shared the toilet and shower with another room on the floor, and it was fine and clean most of the time. The kitchen was nice and equipped too.

We were comfortable here, with a spacious room and all the facilities we needed. The location right on the main square is great. The woman at reception was also very helpful with our laundry.

For the Savora restaurant, I can gladly recommend it: five-star service, great drinks, outstanding food, and reasonable prices. The two-level apartment is on the right side of the restaurant. If you're interested, you can find it on Airbnb. Highly recommend 👌
