You can stay here with family and pets, and the parking is reasonably priced and gives you peace of mind. The staff are friendly and attentive. Ask and they’ll bring you warm towels, and coffee and snacks are available at the front counter.

The first two days were better, which is why I gave it three stars. Then, at 8 a.m. on a Saturday, an employee knocked and opened my bedroom door, waking me up. After I checked out, I complained to him and he tried to argue with me. As I was leaving, he laughed and said, “go to a 5 star hotel!”

It’s close to El Centro. I walked eight blocks to Constitucion & Revolucion, and there’s a church, a park, and a Calimax grocery store within walking distance. The motel is gated, with parking inside the property. I drove up from Southern California and have often found rooms available. A single room is about $ 33 USD a night, while rooms with two beds are $60+. There’s hot water for showers, and I’ve never had any problems. I’d stay again and recommend it. No A/C, so it got pretty hot. Still, the place has a kind of small-town feel where everyone seems to know each other, almost like family. It was interesting, for sure.
