Kay Apartments Isla Mujeres

Communication was great, and the place is close to a major grocery store and several convenience shops. It’s also one street from the Ocean fairway, though you’ll need a golf cart to get around. The apartment and rooms were clean, but it’s small, smaller than the pictures make it look, and the beds are doubles, not queens. Cooking was a little difficult, but manageable.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked again. The owners have made this a peaceful little oasis with beautiful touches, and it had everything we could want as travelers. The apartments are well equipped, and there’s a nearby supermarket if you’d like to cook for yourself. The AC stayed cool, the water was hot, and the beds were comfortable. It’s just a few minutes by taxi to the beach, centro, and ferry Launch. It was comfortable, clean, safe, and affordable. My only wish is that we could come back more often!

The rooftop porch was a great spot for catching both sunrises and sunsets, and the apartment stayed quiet at night, away from the busy north end. We were there for 4 nights and especially liked the cool air-conditioning. The small kitchen was well equipped for making coffee and breakfast, and we could watch Netflix in the evenings. I’d definitely stay again.

We were four people, including my 8byear old son, and the apartment had room for all of us with comfortable beds. I especially liked the pillows and the island, which gave us extra counter space and a place to get homework done. They provided shampoo, soap, body wash, and both beach and bath towels. The apartments are beautiful, with lots of thoughtful details, an amazing view, and a simple, elegant style. I also loved that it’s eco-friendly and family owned. The beach and delicious local cuisine are within walking distance. We loved our stay and 100% recommend it!
