The rooms are old, but very well maintained and have everything you need. It’s a small hotel a little outside the center, and the service was great. The owner was the nicest guy, even if he didn’t like basketball. Thanks for a good time in Bacalar.

For a similar budget, the standards here were higher than what we’d experienced nearby. We had everything we needed for our stay in Bacalar: clean rooms, quiet, large comfortable beds, warm water, WiFi and friendly staff.

The owners are fantastic and the staff are so friendly. This place is a hidden gem in Bacalar, Mexico, just a few blocks from the Town square, where there’s something for everyone to do.

The employees were very friendly, especially the owner, and our room was big and absolutely clean. It was calm, and even the soaps smelled nice. We stayed one night and would definitely book here again. Thanks so much for the service. Bacalar is a cool town with not many tourists, though there are some, and the lagoon is gorgeous. I hope it doesn’t get too touristy too quickly and lose its laid-back atmosphere and unique nature, like Cancun, Playa and Tulum. We heard this little paradise has started to be exploited. Sad but true.
