Humberto and Marcella looked after us so well at this B&B. We had a lovely stay, with a spacious room that had everything we needed, a small, intimate pool, and breakfast included. It’s tucked away nicely for exploring everything Bacalar has to offer.

We first stayed here and were impressed by the thoughtful details, the owners’ hospitality, and how much they knew about the area and places to visit. We highly recommend it to anyone staying in Bacalar or nearby, and we knew we’d come back. 06/05/2023 - A little over a year later, we’re back at this gem. Bacalar has changed a lot with gentrification, but it’s well organized now and caters to all kinds of visitors, especially when it comes to food. We’ve returned almost every year, and staying with Umberto and Marcella is always a joy. They’re sweet, kind, and attentive, and do everything they can to make the stay comfortable. The quiet area, immaculate and beautifully designed rooms, and excellent service make this place easy to recommend. They show what good hospitality looks like. We wish them continued success and will definitely be back.

The room was unbelievable value for money, and this was the best hotel and hosts we had during our travels in Mexico. Roberto and his wife are lovely, attentive people who make sure you have what you need. It may look far from the center, but it’s actually much closer than you’d think. They have free bikes, and a taxi is only 40 peso, since this area isn’t a complete tourist trap.

We spent three nights here and really liked the calm atmosphere. The rooms are nice and clean, with patios looking over the pool, and the hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was very good, and there are free parking spaces. Highly recommended.
