Huatulco felt magical to me, and I’m already dreaming about returning or even buying a place there one day. Until then, Casa Bocana will be my home away from home. I’ll gladly recommend it to friends and family in Mexico and the United States. Visiting my country and discovering somewhere I’d never been was a real blessing, and we can’t wait to go back. My family and I had a wonderful stay, beginning with the warm welcome from the young woman at the front desk. We were celebrating my sister’s birthday, and the staff made her feel special and cared for. Stefano, who I believe is the manager, personally checked that everything was just right. His attention to detail and sincere hospitality stood out. Thanks to everyone at Casa Bocana for such a lovely experience.

We spent five nights at Casa Bocana and loved it. The beach nearby is huge, uncrowded, and great for swimming, fishing, boogie boarding, surfing, or watching the sunrise. The hotel is just a short stroll away, off the main road. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the coffee was awesome. The cozy restaurant served amazing food, the best in Huatulco, with fresh, healthy options and craft cocktails. The bar is worth a visit too. It’s a beautiful boho chic boutique hotel, and the staff really made the stay. They were friendly and provided great service. Special thanks to Alberto and Melina for going above and beyond. Five stars from us, and I’d highly recommend it for a beach vacation in this quaint surf town.

The restaurant was amazing, and the whole space felt peaceful and zen, with such thoughtful design. I liked it enough to cancel the other hotel I’d booked and stay here for my last night in Huatulco. I spent two nights here in Dec 2025 and enjoyed every bit of it. The staff were so helpful. I wish I’d stayed longer, and I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the area :)

The modern beef lace was nice, and the beef Carpaccio was amazing. The empanada was just as good. Six star food and great service, and the drinks were made with love!

Casa Bocana feels like a retreat, not a resort. The rooms are soothing little oases, beautifully decorated and calming when you’re tired from traveling. I saw someone call the service slow, but I didn’t find that. It gives you time to enjoy the delicious food, while the staff stay attentive and thoughtful. They’re helpful, observant, and friendly. This isn’t a place to rush through, and the food’s quality and flavors deserve your time. The only thing I’d change about our stay is making it longer.
