There’s no beach here, and you get into the water only from the dock. That said, the lagoon view is great. It’s a very small hotel, about 12 rooms, right on the lagoon. Our room was clean, the staff pleasant, and the continental breakfast was okay. It was also very quiet.

We liked relaxing on the pier and enjoying the lake. The rooms are spacious, though honestly they feel more like business hotel rooms. There was a large construction site right next door during our stay, making quite a lot of noise all day. It looked like the work was still at an early stage, so it might continue for a few more months.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was okay. Our room was very large but a bit dated and nothing special. The pier was the highlight, with a lovely lagoon view and the chance to swim or paddle around in a kayak. If you’re looking for a place by the lake, this is a good hotel.

The breakfast was handy, with fresh fruit, bread, and coffee. This is a cute hotel on the water, with lots of places to sit on the pier, which is nice when other guests are out there too. It’s a very short walk to the city centre and to La Playita, a favorite restaurant.
