Vias Maya Bacalar Hotel

The area is really peaceful, and the ecopark is a short walk away. It must be Bacalar's best swimming spot. The center is about a 10-minute walk, and there's a lovely restaurant with good wine just around the corner.

The rooms were fresh, clean, and spacious, and the staff were kind and very helpful. We had a great stay and would gladly come back.

We got in late on the bus with nowhere to stay after another hotel cancelled our reservation. Even though it was past midnight, this cute little hotel managed to fit us in for a late check-in. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had hot water. We also enjoyed the shared spaces and all the potted plants. It was nice being outside downtown, and we'll definitely return if we're in Bacalar again.

The room was simple, clean, and spacious, with a shower that had great pressure and hot water. The internet worked reliably too. It's around a five-minute walk to the lagoon, and about 10 minutes to the main square, where the popular bars, shops, and ATMs are. The ADO bus station is the same distance, in a different direction. A good option in Bacalar.
