Casa Bocana Huatulco

We had a five-star, five-night stay at Casa Bocana. The restaurant is cozy, the food is amazing and, to me, the best in all of Huatulco. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the coffee is awesome. The hotel has a beautiful boho chic boutique feel, with friendly staff who give great service. Special thanks to Alberto and Melina for going above and beyond. It's off the main drag but just a short stroll to Huatulco's most beautiful beach, which is vast and uncrowded. Great for swimming, fishing, boogie boarding, surfing, and watching the sunrise. I'd highly recommend it for a beachy vacation in a quaint surf vibe town, or just for delicious fresh, healthy food and craft cocktails at the restaurant and bar.

I enjoyed my two nights here in Dec 2025 so much that I cancelled my other hotel and booked Casa Bocana again for my last night in huatulco. The restaurant is amazing, and the space is thoughtfully designed, peaceful, and zen. The staff were very helpful, too. I only wish I'd stayed longer. I'd definitely return and recommend this quiet spot to anyone visiting the area :)

The food was six-star and the service was great. Drinks were made with love. The beef Carpaccio was amazing, and the empanada was just as good. Nice modern beef lace.

Casa Bocana feels like a retreat, not a resort. The rooms are a peaceful oasis, decorated to soothe a tired traveler. Staying there felt like taking a deep, calming breath. I saw someone say service was slow, but I didn't find that. They give you space to enjoy the delicious food while still being thoughtful and attentive. Staff are friendly, helpful, and observant. This isn't a place to rush through, and the food's quality and flavor deserve time. The only thing I'd change about our stay is to make it longer.
