We stayed January 2-16, 2026, and would definitely return. The pool is the nicest in Barra. The hotel sits by a lagoon in a marina, and a water taxi takes you to the Malecon for 50 pesos. María, the manager, was always around and available for questions or concerns, while Ana kept our room immaculate. The restaurant staff, Alejandro, Carlos, Angeles, and Lalo, were very efficient, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. A special thanks to Servando, who kindly drove my husband to a local store to pick up something he needed. Muchas gracias para todos.

I was especially upset because the Seahawks game mattered so much to me and the people I was with. We were staying at Cabo Blanco for a pickleball tournament, and with the team in the playoffs, we asked the hotel's Tech Guy whether the game would be on in English in the restaurant. He told us twice that it would. When the first game, Denver Broncos, came on in Spanish, we asked him about it and he just shrugged as if it didn't matter. We couldn't find a nearby bar showing the game either. I don't like being lied to by hotel staff.

The pool is the standout, it's large, very clean, and has a swim-up bar. Drinks there cost about twice what you'd pay at a beachfront restaurant, which is a lot for the area. Service was inconsistent, and the restaurant food was poor. The rooms are comfortable, though a little dated, and the beds are comfortable too, but they're the usual double size for Mexico.

The room was spacious and clean, the pool was well maintained, and the WiFi worked very well. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the center and malecon, in a sort of suburban part of town. The front desk felt a bit cold.

This year felt totally different from last year. They welcome sailboats and all kinds of people, and they're on top of everything. Your drinks won't run out and you won't go hungry, it's included in the price. Loved it. Thanks.
