Hotel Del Mar

The owners were kind, personable, and easy to work with, and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are compact but modern, with incredibly comfortable bedding for the price. WiFi was decent. There's no ice machine, though an OXXO is within walking distance. I'd recommend staying here even if you're not watching your budget. It's simply a nice, comfortable place and costs less than some of the aging resorts in town. Enjoy your stay!

The room is small but cozy, and it was very clean and comfortable. It has AC, WiFi, and warm water. I liked the shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower since I don't care for the usual tiny shampoo bottles. The location is great, the price is affordable, and they put out free coffee in the mornings.

It's a fairly new hotel and very clean, with good air conditioning in the rooms. But they didn't honor my reservation: I was supposed to get a king bed on a lower floor, and instead got a third-floor room with two full beds. They offered neither a discount nor an upgrade to make up for it. The beach is a long drive away, around 15-20 minutes by car, and there's nothing nearby, no good restaurants or shops.

The best parts were the comfortable bed and bedding, good air conditioning and internet, and the clean little pool, which was fine for splashing around. There’s free coffee in the morning, and restaurants and an OXXO are within walking distance. The decor is clean and sophisticated, with a European feel, and the staff were wonderful. I was in Room#1, facing a very busy, noisy main road. It quieted down a bit after midnight. There wasn’t a light switch by the bed, so I had to go back to the door to turn everything off and use my phone flashlight to find my way back.
