We only stayed two days last week and wished we’d booked longer. The room was very large and equipped for an extended visit, and the kitchen opened onto a charming patio with a table and chairs, perfect for morning coffee or a quick bite. There was also a shared patio that made a nice spot to read. The hotel is in central Bucerias, close to the beach and many good restaurants. Terry was a great host, with plenty of stories from his many decades in Bucerias. Definitely worth a visit.

A friendly place with an almost family-like feel, thanks in part to the very welcoming owners. It’s close to everything, with a nice pool and well-stocked suites.

La Posada de Bucerias is a great value, with a central location and clean premises. There’s a pool and BBQ, and the shaded pool is great for cooling off on hot days or after a long walk. Keep an eye out for the resident iguanas that live on the roof and wander around. There’s a great bakery cafe across the street, Mikoh restaurants kitty corner, and the beach is just two blocks from the condo.

A quiet week by the small, cool pool, with almost nobody else around, felt like a real vacation. One half of the pool is five feet deep and the other half is shallow enough to sit, wade, or let tiny humans play in the water with supervision. There’s a bathroom by the pool, handy if your room is upstairs and you don’t want to keep going up and down. We liked the rooms and the hotel’s furnishings, architecture, and general feel. On-site laundry facilities were useful. I felt safe both here and in the surrounding area. A market or two, the beach, and a dozen or so restaurants and cafes are all within a short walk. At the end of the block, a wifi cafe plays popular songs with a Mexican twist. My favorite place to eat and drink was Paninos, a block or two away. I’ll definitely return to La Posada.

The balcony and the room itself are spacious, with air conditioning, a microwave, stove, refrigerator, and a sitting area. The pool is small but has no time limits, and the beach is only about 50-60 meters away. It’s affordable, too.
