Hotel Villas del Rey

The location is handy, just two blocks from the beach, and there’s a palapa with excellent service. The pools were clean and the water was warm. I noticed a small crack in the wading pool slide. It was still usable, but fixing it could help prevent accidents with children. The garden and shared areas were clean too, including the tables and loungers. Service was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable, with hot water and air conditioning. My two suggestions: the sheets are very old and need replacing, and speakers by the pool should be restricted after 10:00 AM. New guests played music loudly at 7:00 AM during my stay. With people resting and children around, that was inconsiderate and just not right.

Mmm, there’s room for improvement. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and provide good service. Still, they could do better.

We stayed in the triple room. It was clean, and we thought the hotel was very good. We’d definitely come back.

The green areas were lovely, but the tables and chairs were dirty, and the room had a lot of daylight coming through the curtains. There was also noise from early on, with hammering and cutting going on, when we’d come to rest. They don’t sell food or drinks, and by then I didn’t even feel like staying long enough to take photos. We arrived around midday Saturday. The woman at reception was rude, gave curt answers, and looked unhappy. The man working at night was very kind, nothing like her. The water ran out in my room, so I sent my daughter to tell the woman twice while I was only halfway through bathing. The bedspreads were stained and dirty, as if they’d already been used several times. When you asked the woman for information, she answered rudely that she didn’t know.
