Our room had a queen-size bed, though it wasn't very spacious, and the old furniture could use an update. The sheets were clean, but so stained that they looked dirty. We got there very early, and the receptionist was kind enough to store our luggage.

I've stayed here several times for work, and the bathrooms keep being the problem. They don't get the mold off or improve the shower enclosures and fixtures. Even after you ask for cleaning, someone gives the bathroom a quick wipe and it soon looks messy again. That's a big miss for a hotel that isn't especially cheap, because nobody wants to use a filthy bathroom. The rest of the hotel and rooms seem in good condition, and it's on the boardwalk near several points of interest. I pay $900 for a double room, and there are better nearby options, including Hotel +Basic.

We hadn't booked ahead, but they still gave us nice rooms at affordable prices: $600 for two adults and a child, and $700 for three adults. The room was a little small for us since we're tall, but it did what we needed. We slept and showered, and the hot water took a bit to come through, though it was there. The staff were really friendly, and the location felt safe, with the boardwalk and aquarium nearby. I loved it and would stay again. It's a good hotel.
