I was in room 205, and the bathroom smell was unbearable. Blocking the drain pipe hole didn't fix it. I asked to change rooms, but the night front desk person said none were available. After coming up, he called the smell “normal.” I ended up sleeping with the balcony door open. The stench was so bad I didn't shower or brush my teeth, and I couldn't wait for morning so I could leave. At over 800 pesos a night, the hotel should pay someone to stay in room 205 instead of charging guests. I can't recommend it, only warn people to stay away.

At least in the off-season, it's nice, good, and cheap. The receptionists are friendly, and the place is near the beach, shopping centers, and public transit.

The manager was excellent. We arrived at 4 am one night and he welcomed us without any trouble. The mattresses are really comfortable and not hard, and the rooms are very clean. They provide toilet paper, soap, towels, and shampoo. There's a pool open from 9 am to 8 pm, and Facebook is available in the mornings. The location is great, though the building could use renovation to look better. For the price, it's very good value.

The strongest point is the location, and the hotel accepts cash, cards, and bank transfers. Still, it needs a lot of maintenance. The pool tiles are damaged and dirty throughout. Rooms are small, with hard beds, just one sheet, and very poor pillows. In the room they provide a key, air conditioning and TV remotes, two towels, soap, and very low-quality toilet paper. These details really need work. With improvements, this could undoubtedly be a great option.
