We were pleased with our stay in February 2026, our first visit to the area. We chose the Jr. Suite with an ocean view because it was close to family who were saying nearby. The view was lovely, especially at sunset, and the open, airy shared spaces felt quiet and relaxing. The suite had enough storage for our clothes and luggage, the beds were comfortable, the linens and towels were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the WiFi was great. The decor was sparse, but that was fine. The floors could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We had a plumbing problem on the first night, which was stressful, but the staff fixed it as soon as they could. After that, the shower pressure and hot water were excellent. We didn’t try the kitchenette apart from using the fridge. We did a few loads in the basement garage washer, which was a bit desolate but worked. The pool was clean, had plenty of seating, and was a great temperature. It could use more landscaping to cover the cement walls, but that’s a small suggestion. The lobby cafe was handy for coffee, breakfast, and snacks, with good prices and service. There’s also a convenience store and pharmacy nearby, plus plenty of restaurants within a ten-minute walk. This part of Bucerias has a rougher, more lived-in feel than the golden zone, about a 25-minute easy walk away, but we liked its character and felt safe. I’d stay here again. The streets and sidewalks toward the central square are VERY uneven, so good shoes and care while walking are a must. Crossing the 'kissing bridge' gets you to the boutiques on the other side. We’re not really beach people, but the nearby shore is rockier and harder to walk than the softer, more manicured beach farther south in the golden zone. That wouldn’t put me off staying here again, though I’d factor it in if spending beach days mattered to me.

The restaurant was good, and both its staff and the rest of the team were friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcome even before I arrived and kept that up through my stay, which made the week memorable. I liked the pool area, with several loungers and sling chairs, and the lobby had multiple places to sit and relax. My Jr Suite came with everything I needed, plus a large balcony with a lovely view of the ocean and pool. The hotel is half a block from the somewhat rocky beach. Centro Bucerias is a 10-15 minute walk, and I felt safe going there both during the day and in the evening.

We loved the quiet beach nearby, just a short walk away. The warm water was great for swimming, and there were hardly any people around. Our spacious room had a full kitchen and a huge balcony, a nice place to relax in the morning or evening. Itare Beach House in Bucerías was peaceful, comfortable, and a great value, exceeding what we expected. The pool was clean, large, and heated, so it was easy to take a dip any time. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and they dealt with any issue promptly. The little restaurant, coffee shop, and bar on site was a real gem. Everything we tried tasted delicious and was very affordable.

We spent the Christmas holiday at Itare Beach House and were very happy with our room. It had spacious bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’d gladly stay here again.

Our family reunion brought us to Itare, where we reserved around 15 rooms. The rooms were well equipped with kitchen essentials, sensibly arranged, and well built and ventilated. I can’t remember a hotel shower with better water pressure, in either the US or Mexico. The staff were fantastic whenever we needed help and even helped us get a few things before the reunion. We’re already looking forward to coming back for more reunions.
